Our Road Warriors!!!

As you all know, last week Bridgette, Corey, Elaine and I
drove to Utah for a little visit. One of the main reasons
was the Tour de Utah...which Clint and Chad were to compete.

The boys did great! It was a treacherous ride very steep
and narrow and winding.
It was a relief to see them cross the finish line

As you can see they had lots of support! The Madsens
joined us at the finish line and Larry Mecham, Tara Anderson,
and Shaley, Roman's fiance.
Of course, the little ones got into the act...it was a long
day for them, but they were troopers.From the begining, we could see that there was no provisions
made for the racers. No signs, nothing to warn drivers to look out
for over 600 riders. It was an accident waiting to happen....and it did.someone driving this forerunner, swerved, slammed on their
brakes and Dave Collins and 4 other riders crashed through the windshield. Thanks
to good friends and a army medic that just happened to be picnicing
with his family.....Dave's life was spared and he looks to make a good
recovery. The others are doing alright also.

Richard offered his beautiful condo in Park City and it was
beautiful, and spacious.....anyone visiting the area would
be well served to contact Richard if they need a place. The price is
can't be beat.
